My aunt has been through it all. With having nothing, to having everything.
My uncle made over six figures because of his degrees that he had from college.
He died a little more than 2 years go. The thing is, on his will he didn’t properly sign his signature all the way. So his company that he worked for, for about 17 years said,
“I’m sorry for your loss Mrs. Reyes, but we cannot give you your husband’s life insurance claim because of his uncompleted signature.”
My aunt now lives with her daughter and son-in-law. She is currently trying to fight with these companies that are taking advantage of her and her dead husband, by taking legal action.
Given that my aunt has always given me (along with anybody that needed it) extra money in the past just because she could. And now she has $10 to her name and the people and family that owe her money from the past won’t pay her back when she desperately needs it. Using her money for mostly gas.
Now that I have a job, I know now that a family is supposed to work together. So I gave my aunt $100 from my little paycheck that I get from Lone Star Park.
And I intend to help her out until she can get back on her feet.
